Rules &Regulations :

  • No student shall be allowed to enter the school premises without the I-Card, once it has been issued. In case the I-Card is lost by the student, it shall be mandatory to get a new I-Card issued at an extra charge.
  • All children should come in their school uniforms.
  • Dress should be neat, clean and tidy and Shoes must be polished every day.
  • Wearing of Bindi, ornaments, fancy clips &mehndi is prohibited. Nails must be short and clean. Use of nail – enamel is prohibited.
  • Only simple & small earrings may be worn. Students and parents will be responsible for any loss.
  • Watches, if worn, are the responsibility of the student.
  • The students of all classes should attend the prayer in the morning. Late comers will not be admitted to the class without principal’s permission.
  • No pupil should absent, except for special reasons for which leave is applied in writing by the parent/guardian.
  • Student moving in the corridor or varanda must keep silence.
  • No student will be allowed to move in the school playground during class hourse without the permission of principal.
  • No student should leave the school premise during school hours without the permission of the principal.
  • Punctuality of time is to be observed.
  • Violation of school rules may be a cause of expulsion of the child.
  • Discipline is the pillar of education.
  • Ajanta provides education from nursery to class XII. Therefore it is expected that Juniors must respect seniors,Same time the seniors must earn the respect by behaving properly and maintaining discipline and decorum.

Morning Assembly

Morning assembly is part of code of conduct feature of the school curriculum where students can learn the value of collective prayer and are exposed to the need to inculcate moral and ethical values. Meditation and introspection form an integral feature of the morning assembly.


Uniform constitutes an important part of the school’s philosophy and the standardization of the dress code abolishes class distinction identifying each child only as a student.


Monday and Tuesday    :   Yellow green checked shirt and green pant with green belt and yellow green tie.

Wednesday and Saturday   :    House uniform

Thursday and Friday      :      Dress code is Navy blue shirt and blue pant with blue belt and blue tie.

In winter for LKG to 5th gray sweater and maroon jacket is applicable and for 6 to 12 gray sweater with maroon blazer is applicable.

Every Student is issued an identity card. These identity cards are for the security of the students and hence should be maintained by the student for the full session. Students are expected to carry their I-Card every day to school.
